PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The design team drew inspiration from Nanjing brocade, one of the traditional Chinese silk crafts, and innovatively interpreted it in the interior space. The glass screens with inserted silk and the reception wall featuring a liquid metal technique both showcase Nanjing’s rich cultural heritage using modern techniques.
In terms of spatial layout, the design team analyzed the architectural heritage of Nanjing's Zhan Garden and Ming Palace, integrating the architecture, landscape, and interior of the clubhouse to bring the courtyard scenery indoors. The courtyard reflects the essence of poetic Oriental aesthetics, symbolizing tranquility and creating a relaxed and pleasant space akin to an urban forest, with pathways and small buildings surrounded by trees.
