PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This new build Pullman hotel is a sophisticated weaving of Baotou’s rich Mongolian heritage and it is prominent new place as a hub for technology. The interiors flowing spaces are meant to perpetuate social interactions, both casual and formal.
Le Fontainebleau restaurant serves as the hotel’s three-meal restaurant. Vibrant colors of the local cuisine carry throughout the space. Bold hues, contrasting black and white marble and rich metal details, paired with a fresh backdrop, allow the beauty of each
Bordeaux House shares an impressive full height fireplace screen wall with the lobby lounge. This steakhouse and wine bar features unique wine barrel room dividers and Spanish-inspired art and detailing. The curved ceiling of the main dining, in addition to the round bar, nod to the circular shape of wine barrels. Dark, rich materiality consisting of leathers, walnut and stone, speaks to the luxuriousness associated with wine and steak while the industrial elements of worn metal and concrete capture the youthful feel of the Pullman brand, making the restaurant warm and welcoming to all.
Pullman Baotou showcases a modern interpretation of old classics at Silk Pavilion. Detailed layers of the Mongolian story unfold as guests experience this contemporary Chinese restaurant. Situated just off of the second-floor escalator, the grand entry wall features over one hundred hanging paper lanterns and large metal doors inspired by the doors of the ancient cities. The main dining room and tea house is reminiscent of the traditional Ger tent latticework with contemporized rounded booths providing a semi-private backdrop for sumptuous delicacies.
