PROJECT DESCRIPTION

In keeping with GHM hotel and resort's philosophy, the designers of Chedi Xinchang have embraced an authentic and honest design approach  to  create  a  new  Chedi  resort  property  that  is  elegant,  contemporary, reflect local culture and history and most importantly maximize the guest experience of a resort immersed within a tranquil yet captivating Han Fei river valley. The  resort  buildings  overlook  Hanfei  riverbanks  and  are  flanked  by  naturally  sculpted  stone  cliffs.  Resort  Central  facility  functions  are housed within separate low rise pavilions, each featuring clean modern  forms  with  outwardly  focused  internal  spaces  and  large  glazed  windows  that  blur  the  threshold  between  internal  spaces  and external views. Sharing the same philosophy that the iconic architect, Tado Ando, once  said  "I  don’t  believe  architecture  has  to  speak  too  much.  It  should remain silent and let nature in the guise of sunlight and wind"
