PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Collaborating with Watermark Retirement Communities/Freshwater Group, HBA Los Angeles and HBA Procurement have brought the resort living lifestyle to The Watermark at Westwood Village, a luxury senior community. Approaching the project from a hospitality-minded perspective, the design team sought to honor the structure's midcentury modernist roots, reinterpreted from a contemporary viewpoint. Through the exploration of deconstructing boundaries, we created an architectural vocabulary that plays with nature-inspired, spatial relationships.
