Touted as one of the leading five star wellness hotels, The Anandi Hotel and Spa is becoming a destination within its own right in the heart of Shanghai’s business district. Embodying well-being to its core – starting with its design – the luxury hotel epitomizes holistic wellbeing to provide wellness solutions that create a balanced vitality of mindfulness through the design of interior spaces. Guided by the philosophy that a holistic environment appeals to a significantly great number of potential guests, HBA designers were inspired to bring in the concept of healing throughout the hotel space. Bamboo and water features helped to connect the indoor and outdoor environments in a seamless, intuitive way that supports the guests’ restorative experience and stimulating their senses. Using warm and muted color palettes with hints of vibrant colors as accents coupled with natural materials such as live edge wood and healing stones, the elements work in harmony to create a tranquil environment.
