PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Nestled across 18 acres of pristine white-sand beach front, the newly opened St. Regis Sarasota by HBA Miami stands as a tribute to Sarasota’s storied performing arts heritage. The design narrative centres on the idea of movement, intertwining Sarasota’s vibrant cultural and artistic heritage with the island’s serene environment. Curvilinear forms of the interior architecture gracefully gesture to ballet’s artistry and enchantment, while patterns evoke the rhythm of dance-like moments in nature. A serene palette of light stones, warm wood tones, and blue accents is informed by the coastal environment, energised by decorative lighting that reflects the dynamism of the circus.
