PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Sheraton Fengxian is not only the first international brand luxury hotel in Fengxian, but also the first property in Asia Pacific to display Sheraton’s new logo. Situated in Fengxian Qingchun, a fast-developing suburban community outside of Shanghai’s hustle and bustle, the hotel is designed as an urban sanctuary, where the guests can fully rejuvenate their mind and soul and embrace the beauty of nature. From the aspects of forms, functions, scale, and proportions as well as the details that are interrelated with the context of Fengxian, HBA analyzes the idea of ‘charm of basic’ and ‘luxury of humility’ in depth and integrates the two major design concepts with the local community history, culture, and traditions to deliver unparalleled guest experiences.
