PROJECT DESCRIPTION
As a beloved landmark in the city, the traditional form of the Ritz-Carlton building is carried into and throughout the interior and then contemporized with classically tailored modern detailing. The overall lines are sleek and the spaces, accessorized with one of a kind photos and unique artifacts, remain uncluttered and offer subtle insights to both the hotel and to San Francisco itself. HBA has rekindled the spirit of the hotel and evokes the glamour, opulence and celebrity that belong to it. The design represents the complex and layered cultural history of the city along with its singular ambiance.
