PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Revier Hotel Dubai is the first hotel by the Swiss hotel operator outside of Switzerland. The team was tasked with giving the hotel a Swiss feel, ensuring the interior design was rooted to its brand origin. The design team played with the idea of merging the Swiss slopes with the undulating sand dunes of the desert by combining warm and cool colours together, including elements of a typical Swiss ski chalet while making sure it matched the local surroundings and culture. The simple design allowed the team to be resourceful with use of materials to reduce wastage, and most of the materials used in the project were sourced locally and recycled product was used where possible.
