PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya draws inspiration from its eclectic neighborhood to create an experience that energizes creativity, celebrates diversity, and elevates artistry to new heights. From the sanctuary in the sky, guests will savor spectacular culinary masterpieces, enjoy stunning city views, and appreciate curated selections of art, design, and music. Stepping out into the world-famous district, guests gain a new perspective on the kaleidoscope of Shibuya's culture.
The hotel reflects Shibuya’s unique blend of old and new by seamlessly integrating the cityscape into the interior design. The entrance serves as a natural continuation of the street, incorporating elements inspired by Shibuya’s landmarks, such as the iconic Shibuya Crossing, the Hachiko statue, and Yoyogi Park. These references are subtly integrated into the interior through artwork, patterns, and architectural elements.
Located in the heart of Tokyo, Shibuya is renowned for its “Scramble Intersection,” one of the city’s most famous symbols, situated at the valley bottom of Shibuya. Often referred to as “Jungle City,” Shibuya is a vibrant intersection of characters, trends, people, and cultures.
The guetrooms subtly reflect the trends and timeless icons of Shibuya, offering a harmonious blend of influences without overwhelming the senses. Hidden gems within the room invite guests to discover the essence of Shibuya’s enduring charm.
