PROJECT DESCRIPTION
An elevated lounge experience for the most discerning of guests, this new indoor-outdoor space provides lush comfort and elegance. Organic patterns play with geometric forms and structures to highlight feature elements throughout the space. Screens reminiscent of coral patterns highlight the buffet area to frame a textured wall beyond. Large stone Buffet counters anchor the space providing an ideal layout to display the fine cuisine offered. Built in millwork cabinets offer extra amenities of coffee, wine and various beverages for the guests while displaying curated artifacts for the guest’s enjoyment. An intimate library area provides a moment of calm serenity. Plush lounge seating surrounds built in library shelving with grasscloth backing. Featured sculptural wooden stools are placed throughout the space like driftwood along the shore. Rotating artwork from a prominent local gallery infuses current local artistic expression into the space.
Taking advantage of the gorgeous Santa Barbara climate the dining area is positioned between the buffet and large operable doors that open to the adjoining terrace, bringing the outdoors in. The space is enhanced by the floating sculptures suspended overhead. The reimagined outdoor patio further embraces the beautiful surrounding environment while maintaining the same level of luxury seen on the interior. An outdoor fire table and lounge seating provides a cosy moment to enjoy nature’s indulgences.
