PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Beach Village at The Del is a gated community of beachfront cottages and villas offering personalized, elevated service and access to exclusive experiences, plus all the amenities of the famous Hotel del Coronado. HBA created a design with sophisticated tactility and a refined sense of aesthetic, with the added embellishment of contemporized traditional detailing. Layers of texture and neutral tones replaced aspects of dark woods for a natural reflection of the lively coast. A cooler neutral palette allows the richness of warm leather-like textures and updated accents to speak to the present. Maintaining traditionally refined detailing of the crown moldings and kitchen cabinetry honors the past, anchoring the space and drawing the eye. Washed wood finishes nod to the elements of the surrounding environment. Coastal blues introduced in the carpets and accent fabrics are both soothing and invigorating at the same time.
